Friday Fun: Tunes, Photography, and Webcams, Oh My!

I found a link to this video at Raised on Indie while combing through my RSS feeds this morning. The band name alone had this Midwesterner hooked, and I thought this song from the Toronto band Great Lake Swimmers would make a great accompaniment to everyone’s Friday. (You’re welcome).

More eye candy: Photographer Ian Coristine, a fan of the band, invited them to his neck of the woods to record “Lost Channels,” their latest release. Coristine captures amazing images of the Thousand Islands region, located between Toronto and Montreal, including some of its wild inhabitants. One dip into my RSS feed reader over coffee and I’m already scheming about traveling to the Thousand Islands. Who’s with me? (This webcam link is not helping!)
